What should you ask a potential hire is: Must they have experience building a product from start to finish? Must they be able to talk with users, lead brainstorming sessions, lead design meetings, create flawless interfaces, do front-end code, AND mentor future designers. Must they deal with ambiguity and change? Must you be a leader that can craft a product that end up working from scratch or have to be completely redone?
