Marketing is a very low barrier to entry to the market. Hire a hardworking, versatile person instead of an expert marketer. Hiring a marketing expert is a lose-lose scenario, and it's a win-win-win for your startup. Hired an expert in “X” means that they probably spent 99% of their time working only on one channel. Experts don’t have the time or the will to do that. Hire the best expert out there and focus on exploring new channels.
