Privacy is already becoming a point for many, even non-predatory free services like Duck DuckDuck. 2019 was a landmark year for privacy in the wild west, with the public turning against the approach to data gathering, and with regulations like the GDPR coming into force, the world is beginning to come to an end with the necessity of stronger consumer data protection.
