In The BTC Vs. USD battle, My Money's on DOGE: Here's Why Bitcoin vs. USD is a foregone conclusion anyway. Dogecoin just sitting there waiting to be broadly adopted by somebody or some entity. Bitcoin just did not fit the bill. Bitcoin is already accumulated and used there there are several countries that are in various stages of anarchy: Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Syria and Lebanon. We really need a cryptocurrency that we can obtain in quantity without attracting too much attention over two years.
