Dov Carpe: Thanks so much for having me. I’m an Account Executive here at Chargeflow.
Brian Wallace: Want to elaborate a bit on your role?
Dov Carpe: Sure. My main responsibility is ensuring our SMB motion is running effectively. I make sure small and medium sized businesses are set up for success and no longer have to fear fraudulent chargebacks that destroy operational efficiency, eat away at revenue and potentially shut down the ability to process payments.
Brian Wallace: So what is Chargeflow? Who created it, and why is it so relevant right now?
Dov Carpe: Chargeflow was created by two brothers, Ariel and Avia Chen who previously built a highly successful e-commerce cosmetics brand with a large subscription base. Shortly into their business, they were hit with a massive surge in disputes, most of them “friendly fraud,” meaning real customers initiating false chargebacks. They couldn’t find any solution on the market that actually addressed the issue, so they built their own.
Today, Chargeflow works with over 15,000+ brands globally, helping merchants combat the rise in online fraud. We sit at the forefront of dispute prevention and automated dispute recovery. If someone tries to get a fraudulent refund, we help stop it. If a dispute sneaks through, we automatically build custom evidence at-scale and fight it for the merchant, so they get their revenue back without lifting a finger. This frees them to focus on scaling their business instead of wasting hours battling chargebacks.
Brian Wallace: I love that backstory. So many great companies start when founders solve their own problem. I also read that you recently raised a significant round. Can you speak to that?
Dov Carpe: Absolutely. We recently
As an AI-powered platform, this investment accelerates everything, from scaling our team, to improving win rates, to enhancing our ability to identify bad actors before they strike.
We also announced a new product, Prevent, which evaluates risk that’s post-checkout, pre-fulfillment. It’s a deep behavioral analysis of the cardholder designed to stop fraudulent purchases before they become disputes. Between prevention and automated dispute recovery, we’re offering merchants a full-stack protection suite.
Brian Wallace: You mentioned earlier that your role is in sales, but you come across as someone who’s also very marketing-minded, and a thought leader who likes being a face and voice of the brand. What can you share about that?
Dov Carpe: I appreciate that, Brian. I do have a background in content creation, video production, and marketing, and I try to bring that into my role at Chargeflow. Beyond sales, I help build brand awareness. I host our podcast Grow With the Flow, where I interview leaders in the e-commerce world. I also create micro-content, run webinars, appear as a guest on other formats, and generally try to use my creative background to generate more visibility and ultimately, more revenue, for the company.
