NoteOCR allows users to upload handwritten notes, handwritten table data, and scanned documents, and convert them into editable digital documents. It is designed to help students and professionals reduce hours of manual typing and improve productivity.

Now’s a good time for NoteOCR to exist because as digital workflows become the standard for students and professionals alike, the bridge between physical brainstorming and digital execution needs to be faster and more seamless than ever.

What is your traction to date? How many people does NoteOCR reach?

NoteOCR currently reaches 500+ users monthly, with consistent usage from students and professionals converting handwritten and scanned documents into editable digital formats, like excel and word.

Who does your NoteOCR serve? What’s exciting about your users and customers?

NoteOCR is built for students, educators, professionals, and small teams who work with handwritten notes, tables, or scanned documents. Instead of spending hours on manual typing, users can convert paper-based information into editable, structured digital documents in seconds, saving significant time and effort.

What technologies were used in the making of NoteOCR? And why did you choose ones most essential to your techstack?

NoteOCR leverages a robust modern stack built on React and Node.js to ensure a responsive user interface and efficient backend processing. By integrating MongoDB for data management and AWS for scalable cloud infrastructure, the platform effectively handles the heavy lifting of OCR technology and custom document editing tools.

What is traction to date for NoteOCR? Around the web, who’s been noticing?

NoteOCR is currently live and publicly accessible, already serving a user base of over 500 monthly active users. The platform is seeing steady engagement through organic search and direct traffic, with a core group of returning users relying on it to digitize their handwritten and scanned documents.
