Nickolay Rackoushine wrote the winning entry, “Blockchain is still better than no blockchain” The winning entry received nearly 50 separate entries from all over the world. The contest was run by FreeTON, a community-driven project also involved with attempts to modernise election processes in Guatemala. The winner of the contest was Nickoelay, a student studying in Guatemala, who believes that modern technology can improve the electoral procedures.
