LA-based startup, Mi Terro, has created the first milk-made t-shirt. The Limitless Milk Tee is made out of spoiled milk. The company uses their own patented biotechnology to actively re-engineer parts of food waste into sustainable fibers. The product is said to use 60% less water than a normal cotton shirt and uses 15 trees per purchase in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. The shirt is 3 times softer than cotton with their silk-like texture and is wrinkle-resistant.
