Unbench is rethinking how digital companies scale — replacing outdated hiring models with fast, flexible access to trusted vendor teams. In this Momentum 10 feature, we share how we help businesses find pre-vetted tech, marketing, and recruiting partners in under 48 hours. We talk about building with clarity, solving real-world growth problems, and why partnerships — not headcount — are the future of team building.

Tell us about you.

Unbench focuses on real business needs: quick access to talent, reliable subcontracting, and expert marketing support — all through proven partners.

We're redesigning how businesses connect — replacing weeks of hiring and vendor search with smart, transparent matchmaking in 48 hours

Our goal is to become the go-to growth platform for companies that build, launch, and grow digital products and services.

Tell us how your startup is changing the world.

We’re helping digital companies rethink how they scale — by creating a space where partnerships, not just transactions, drive growth. Rather than being just a hiring tool, Unbench functions as an operating layer for finding and working with trusted teams — from tech to marketing and recruiting — with speed and confidence.

We’ve built a verified network of agents — technical companies with expertise in over 100 niches, marketing agencies trusted with multimillion-dollar budgets, and recruiting firms ready to deliver a warm pool of candidates within 48 hours.

This is how we deliver speed and a hassle-free experience:

What sets you apart from the competition?

  1. An all-in-one ecosystem. Unbench combines access to vetted specialists, outsourcing teams, and marketing agencies — all in one platform. This allows tech companies to solve multiple needs (hiring, scaling, marketing) without juggling multiple vendors.
  2. Fast and flexible hiring. On Unbench, companies can post a request and get matched with a ready-to-start team or specialist within 48 hours — no long hiring cycles, no wasted time.
  3. Human-first and transparent. No bots, no hidden fees. Real people handle support, and every company is verified before joining. We prioritize transparency and open communication at every step.
  4. Built for reliability, not randomness. We don’t work with random freelancers. Unbench only connects companies with verified IT partners and agencies, ensuring higher reliability, quality, and long-term collaboration.
  5. Practical by design. Unbench was built by people who’ve been on both sides — managing hiring needs and delivering services. That real-world experience helps us design a platform that’s actually useful, not just “nice to have.”

What does it mean for you to be in the Momentum 10?

Being part of Momentum 10 is both an honor and a signal that we’re building something that matters.

As a bootstrapped team solving real operational challenges for digital companies, we often move quietly — so recognition like this validates our work, our pace, and our direction.

It’s also a reminder that even practical, behind-the-scenes platforms like Unbench can drive meaningful change in how companies grow and collaborate. We're proud to be in such strong company — and even more motivated for what comes next.

What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to set out for this mission?

At Unbench, we’ve built a culture around clarity, ownership, and speed. We stay close to users, iterate fast, and optimize for what brings measurable value — not vanity features.

As CEO, I focus on driving strategy, shaping the product’s direction, and building a sustainable business around it. Our Head of Platform, Alyona Honcharenko, ensures we stay grounded in user needs and that every part of the platform runs smoothly.

We value long-term thinking and healthy collaboration: no ego, no drama — just smart, driven people solving real problems together.

That’s why we believe we’re the right team for this — we’re not guessing at what works. We’re building what we wish we had, and it turns out others want it too.

Looking back, what milestone was the biggest turning point for your startup?

Our biggest turning point was when we shifted from being just a tool for developer bench exchange to a full-service platform supporting hiring, outsourcing, and marketing.

That move came directly from user feedback — companies didn’t just want short-term help, they wanted trusted long-term partners across different areas.

By listening closely and expanding our offering step by step, we found product-market fit not through one big launch, but by solving one real problem at a time.
The lesson? Growth comes from being useful — not flashy.

What’s one valuable lesson you learned this year that you’d pass on to other startups?

In 2024, we learned that clarity beats complexity — in product, in messaging, and in operations.

We used to think we needed more features to grow. But the real breakthrough came when we focused on simplifying user flows, tightening our core offer, and saying no to things that didn’t serve the mission.

2025 is not about doing more — it’s about doing what matters.

Start with a clear, valuable offer. After proving its value, we scale with purpose, adding new layers only when the timing and demand are right.

How do you envision your industry evolving in the coming years, and how will your startup stay ahead?

The industry is moving toward modular growth — teams built from verified parts, not just hired internally.

As more companies adopt flexible staffing models, platforms will need to go beyond talent access and start solving for quality, collaboration, longevity, and financial effectiveness.

Unbench is already aligned with this shift — helping companies not just find talent, but build sustainable, high-quality collaborations with trusted vendors.

How do you or your company intend to bring forward the Momentum 10 inspirations in 2025?

Momentum 10 gives us a louder voice — and we’ll use it to promote smarter growth through trusted, flexible partnerships.

In 2025, we’ll keep highlighting the people behind the scenes — the teams and agencies powering real progress — and focus on making collaboration easier, faster, and more human.

What goals are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2025?

In 2025, we’re focused on strengthening the reliability and trust within our ecosystem. One of our key goals is to launch new reputation tools and collaboration mechanics that go beyond financial guarantees — helping partners work together with more confidence.

We’re also working on one of our more ambitious ideas: enabling automated technical interviews directly through the platform. The research phase is done, and development is underway.

More broadly, we’re committed to growing step by step — planning, testing, improving — while staying close to what our users actually need. That’s the core of our growth strategy.

2024 has been crazy, with all the new techs, and all the geopolitics fluctuations. What are the impacts of these to your startup, and to your industry as a whole? Be as brief or as detailed as you like.

2024 didn’t force us to pivot — it confirmed we’re on the right path.

The rise of AI, market uncertainty, and shifting global dynamics showed that traditional hiring models no longer work for fast-moving digital companies. Businesses need more flexibility, faster decisions, and trusted partners they can activate on demand. Working with vendors often helps optimize development costs.

Unbench was built exactly for this reality — and everything happening this year has only reinforced the need for smarter, more adaptive collaboration models.
